Welcome to my hobby - the Un-official Archives of Poi dog Pondering. I have been a fan of PdP since I first heard them on WXRT soon after I moved to Northern Illinois from St. Louis in 1991.  My job kept me from seeing them perform live until 'The Taste of Randolph Street' in 1999.  Since then I have seen them live too many times to count from Portland, Oregon to Austin, Texas to New York City. In late 2000 I began recording their shows.  In 2002 I dabbled into video for a while. This web site is dedicated to archiving LIVE Poi dog Pondering, after all, as good as their recordings are, they are best when seen LIVE.  And as they perform close to 15 times a year in and around Chicago, there are plenty of times to catch them.  Along with PdP, this web site contains  some off-shoots of PdP including: Frank Orrall, 8fatfat8, The Lost Souls of The Great Lakes, Apsaras Dreaming, and Dag Juhlin.
